A Feng Shui
Newsletter # 1
While Feng Shui is currently the most popular form of analysis for the
energies created by our environment, it is not the only one.
Many
cultures throughout the ages have studied and incorporated
similar principles for harmonious living - the Native
American teepee, with its round shape and double walls, creates
a spontaneous vortex which releases unwanted energies … the
Medieval practice of hanging shields on the corners of the walls
negates stagnation and induces movement … the use of stained
glass brings the power of light and color to temples and
churches - all of these are ways in which Mankind has
positively manipulated their environment to create specific /
desired energies.
In this
series of articles we will explore Feng Shui and other spiritual
disciplines of Energy Analysis, and discuss effective methods
that create harmony and positive change, both in our environment
as well as in our lives.
In
its most basic form Energy is either:
Stagnant unmoving,
blocking, restrictive, passive.
Excessive overwhelming,
rushing, over-stimulating, domineering.
Depleting through a
visible or invisible drainage of energies - these become a
direct threat to our physical and emotional health.
Fragmented where the
connective movements from one aspect of our environment / life
to the next are missing or inappropriate - these create
confusion, isolation, unbalances, distress.
Inappropriate where the
external choices do not match our internal / true self - these
are
facades and
untruths, forcing us live in a state of limitation and
disempowerment, promoting illusion and delusion.
Harmonious where there is
a spontaneous flow, an ease of movement, beauty and gracious
living - these energies nurture us in all aspects of our
lives, creating a higher
state of health, wealth, success and well-being.
Before we
can move towards a correct analysis we have to understand that
each solution has to reflect our true personality, separate from
the needs of our environment - this implies spending time
looking at our gifts and qualities, aspirations and desires,
comforts and life- style … for each of us is different and
each treatment has to be tailored to our specific needs - to
do otherwise will be to simply follow technique and not realize
our highest potential.
Over the
next weeks and months we will guide you through a complete
process so that you can transform your life and achieve a higher
state of balance, fulfillment and harmony - and here is were
it begins …
You have
to rediscover who you are, what energies you were born with,
your inner gifts and life’s purpose.
This has
nothing to do with your current job, state of health, passions
or traumas … the answer lies in your earliest youth, somewhere
around the ages of 5, 6 or 7 - at this point the true you was
emerging, yet unmarred by society and life.
Your likes
and dislikes, the games you played, the things that brought
laughter to your lips … all these were the true reflections of
your inner being …
For any
changes to be effective you MUST unveil this inner being,
because all your traumas, all your limitations, all your
blockages and unfulfilled desires … all these stem from this
point.
So, if you
chose to follow it, this is your first assignment:
Spend time
contemplating your earliest years - look at photographs, talk
to your relatives (we understand that they will not have an
objective view of yourself, yet they may give you an insight
on some missing memories), think about your earliest aspirations
and desires no matter how silly they may appear to your grown up
mind, they still contain valuable information.
Write out
your gifts and abilities, even if these have never been trained
or explored ...
Consider
impossible vacations around the world and the qualities they
would nurture in you ...
List
activities / jobs you would do if money was not important (make
believe you have won the biggest lottery in the world ... now
how would you occupy your time, and why ?) …
What are
the most important things you want to achieve / do in this life
? and why ? …
Finally,
for this is just one life, passing through our experience as
Spirit, how would you want to be remembered by friends and
family ? What legacy would you want to leave behind ?
After you
have completed all this, consider what went wrong - how has
your experience of life created limitations and blockages to
these desires … who and what has hurt you … what have you given
up - and why ? What stresses you ? and do you have any
negative patterns that keep repeating in your life ?
What are
you willing to do to change any of it - this is very
important - and list, in order of priority, what you want to
achieve first.
Any change will induce movement,
and eventually all others will follow … but the first choice is
important - it is the inspiration that will lead us
through the challenges of this
transformation and re-birth.
We
encourage you to complete this assignment as fully as possible
- for no change is possible if we do not know who we are.
In the
next few weeks more information will be given, in the meanwhile
if you have any questions you can contact us through this web
site and we will do our best to answer your queries.
Until then, flow in harmony,
